Natalee's Birthday Celebration with Gigi

 On New Year's Eve the kids and I flew back to Texas for a long 3 week visit!!  We had such a great time and were able to get all around the state to see so many people we love!  We spent the first week with Gigi in Houston.  She threw a fantastic Bubble Guppie party for Natalee! My best friend Tara, and her husband, Mike came over for some fun as well. With presents, balloons and a cake especially made for Nat-Nat, this little princess had a nice evening celebrating...herself!

Natalee had a great little birthday celebration tonight!  She saw Daddy bring a cake in and stood at the counter for about 20 minutes saying, "cake, cake.." repeatedly.  She was very excited to blow out her candles and loved opening her presents!  The highlight of the evening of course was.....her HELLO KITTY CAR!!!  Gigi got her this incredible pink battery powered convertible car which she loves but sadly we have snow outside and so Natalee had to give it a spin around the kitchen and living room!  Hopefully the weather will warm up soon so we can try it outside.

Natalee,
I can not believe you are 2 years old!  Last night I put you to bed as my baby and this morning you woke up as a "big girl."  You are such a joy to our family.  God knew exactly what He was doing when blessing us with you to complete our family.  You are so incredibly beautiful on the inside and out!  Your smiles and giggles can light up the room, and your sweet unsolicited hugs and kisses are just too sweet for words.  You are so adventurous and love a challenge!  Thank you for always keeping me on my toes, reminding me just how blessed I am when you look up at me, and for being my girly-girl!  I imagine we have lots of wonderful days ahead of us doing all kinds of fun Mommy-Daughter things, but for now I just want to relish in you being little and enjoy every second of you growing up.  I love you so much my little princess!  Happy birthday!!!!

Last Night as a 1 Year Old!

Last night to be 1 year old!!!   Daddy, Nico and I said goodnight to our little one year old Princess for the last time...tomorrow she wakes up a big girl.  I have a feeling this Momma is going to be a wreck tomorrow!
