Going back now....
Back to January to Natalee's Hello Kitty birthday party!! The Saturday after her birthday Ed and I threw her a sweet little Hello Kitty party . Natalee was dressed to the tee head to toe in Hello Kitty...from her hair bow to her shoes! She looked so pretty and so grown up! I am just so proud of what a beautiful and sweet little girl she has grown into. She had a blast at her party and was enthralled when she saw her Hello Kitty cake...of course, wanted to blow the candles out over and over. Nat-Nat is certainly a blessed little girl and she got some wonderful presents, which was entertainment enough to watch her open up! Natalee has so much fun at her party and we appreciate everyone who came to celebrate with us!
We definitely have a 2 year old on our hands now full of so much sass and sweetness all at the same time...wow, my baby is 2!!!

Another Major Milestone for Nico
Since wrapping up the blogging from our trip to Texas, I am skipping ahead to just 2 days ago (and then will go back again to catch up some more), when Nico lost his first tooth! Yes, you read that right...Nico lost his first tooth! I can hardly believe it. I mean I knew this would be happening sooner rather than later, but I thought it would be closer to or after turning 6 years old! Nico discovered he had a loose tooth about 2 weeks ago and both Ed and I were quite shocked! So with lots a wiggles and tugs, the tooth came out, just in the nick of time too because Ed was leaving to go out of town and he did not want to miss the excitement. At 4:30 am as Nico was snuggled in between Ed and I and he woke us up, saying his tooth was gone. So we all hopped out of bed to look for the tiny little tooth that was lost in the sheets, and luckily we were able to find it! That next night, the Tooth Fairy came to pluck the precious first tooth from underneath Nico's pillow and in its replacement, left him $2.00!
The day before the tooth came out!
Daddy examining just how loose the tooth was the evening before it came out.
It fell out!!!! Such a big boy!!!

Last of the trip to Texas
I am finally coming to an end of blogging about our long and fantastic trip to Texas....better late than never! After returning to Houston from Austin there were not too many days until we had to back up north to the cold, but to Daddy, who we missed dearly.
One of the last nights there, Gigi and I were able to go to a very special dinner alone, which is was such a treat! We dressed up and went and wined and dined!
On another day we met up with Tara, Mike and Jackie at Amazon Grill for one last tasty Texas meal and then headed downtown to let the kids play around at a playground.
The very last day were in town, Gigi and I took the Littles to a trampoline park for some jumping around! They had so much fun!!
We had so much fun and while it was terribly hard to leave Texas and so much family behind, we were so happy to get back into our own routine, our own beds, and best of all...to see Daddy!

Quck Visit to Austin
After leaving the RGV the kids and I headed to Austin with Gigi for a quick 2 night visit with my aunt and our cousins. We were especially excited to find out cousin Shae and her boys, Mason and Emerson would be there!! Nico and Mason fell in together playing like they had seen each other just the last week. We had a lot of laughs and had fun catching up! We played games, ate yummy pizza, the kids played their hearts out, we tried a great food trunk park, and the big boys went on a fun outdoor adventure with Uncle Tom (with Mommy and Shae right behind). One of the highlights for me was having some Mommy time with Shae! We were given the opportunity to get pedicures and go shopping together while the grandmas watched the kiddos.
