I took the kids to JC Penny's for some Easter pictures....Natalee had other plans! She put up quite a fight and was not going to allow any decent picture taking to happen. So, plan B was to take the kids to Mt Vernon and take pictures of them playing around on the grounds. They chased bubbles, chased each other and just had a blast running around outside with the weather being so pretty! The pictures turned out so much better than those terrible in studio ones and the smiles you see here in these pictures are authentic happy-having fun smiles on their beautiful faces!

Soccer and Gigi
Sadly, towards the end of March big brother EJ moved out and went back to Washington state. Nico loved him being here and really had some memorable moments with him for the short time while he was here. However, as EJ left, Gigi came in for a 9 day visit, following immediately with a 4 day visit from Pops! We really enjoyed having the grandparents here for a stay! During those couple of weeks, Nico started his spring soccer season and has already had 3 games!
Gigi was here for Nico's first two soccer games, which was great since Daddy happened to be scheduled to be out of town that weekend. We had a great time over the 9 days she was here. We saw the Muppet Movie, went to Mount Vernon, visited the Smithsonian Museum of Natural Science to see the butterfly exhibit and the dinosaurs, took a peek at the beautiful cherry blossoms of DC and watched the planes flying right overhead at Graverly Point Park! Of course there were a few trips to the toy store and to many restaurants! We hated to see her go and always miss Gigi dearly, but hoping to see her again soon!
