Messy Boy!

Nico had his first solid food today! We started with sweet potatoes, which he actually seemed to enjoy. Nico did well eating from a spoon for the first time, and opened his mouth every time the food came in for a landing. He also appeared to like sitting in his high chair for the first time and did not hesitate making a mess with his food. Our little boy is definitely becoming a big boy and enjoying all his new accomplishments.

    Wait till he starts feeding himself.....that is so much fun to watch....buy oh boy he is getting big

    We had a lot of fun making Nico's first "big boy" food. We mashed and mashed and then mashed some more, into ice trays, to be frozen. First it was sweet potatoes and the next day avocados. It was tempting not to break out the chips, for a little gucamole!
