Soccer Game #5 Pictures:

Daddy is a great goalie coach!
Last weekend was a busy one for Nico, but it was also a
super fun one since Gigi came in for a visit.
She got to see our new house, watch Nico at his soccer practice and a
game, as well as see him complete another 1K race. We were certainly on the go, but I love being
able to have Nico participate in these type of events. He feels so proud of himself afterwards and
seeing the smile and pride on his face knowing he has accomplished something he
set out to do is pretty incredible for this mama. Nico had a great soccer game; somehow he
lucked out and got to play goalie more than once, which is his favorite
position. For the race, this time Mommy
walked/ran with Nico because Daddy was already running in his own 20 mile race,
and Gigi waited at the finish line with Natalee. When Nico finished the race and was handed
his medal, he asked where his trophy was!
In his mind, he got a trophy last time, so why is it different for this
race!? Overall, we had a great weekend as
usual when visiting with Gigi…it is such a blessing to see the relationship
between my own kids and my mom blossom into something unique and special.
