Ed and I took the kids to the same nursery as we went to last year to find our Halloweeen pumpkins. As soon as we began walking in, we felt a few sprinkles so we hurriedly took some pictures of the kids thinking a downpour was about to occur. However, we lucked out and the sprinkling just kept stopping and starting back up again every 10 minutes or so and we never got a drenching rain. Nico helped us pick out 4 nice round pumpkins of various sizes: A Mommy one, a Daddy one, a Nico one and a Natalee one. Then of course Nico had to get a tiny one for his own room. After the standard posed pictures of the kids were taken and pumpkins purchased, and since it still hadn't begun to rain on us, we decided to give the Hay Maze a try, as well as let Nico get his jump on in the bounce house and finally go on their last Hay Ride of the day. On the Hay Ride, the driver told everyone that the little scarecrows had escaped last night and during the ride we needed to look for them and count to see how many were out there. I must say, that between paying attention to both kids and looking around at the scenery, I lost count of these scarecrows.....but not Nico! At the end of the hay ride, the driver asked how many everyone had counted up, and Nico was the one (out of about 7) with the correct answer of 17! He was so proud that he had gotten the right answer! I was also pretty proud since he was the youngest person participating. What a smartie we have! "Kiss your brain!"
Nico is making his famous Gigi face! We love it!
Daddy and his princess!
Cuddle times with my baby girl.
"What's this? Hmm, do I eat hay?"
This is Nico after he learned he was one person who guessed the right number of scarecrows.
He was so proud!"
