Mt. Vernon on Labor Day weekend

Over Labor Day weekend we headed over to Mt Vernon for  a few hours.  It such a peaceful and beautiful place to visit with such a great amount of history to relish in. The weather was beautiful and the kids got to run around on the grounds, see the animals (cows, pigs and sheep) and watch the boats on the Potomac. Besides Natalee stepping in a little manure (was so gross) on the gravel country roads, we had a nice family day enjoying the outdoors and each other.
